Cons:
I don't have complaints about this show usually, more like... potential missed opportunities. I thought the little through-line about Tina wanting a specific pencil holder could have had a funnier punchline than her just telling us that she broke it immediately. I wish we'd seen her using it or showing it off and then it had broken. Similarly in Bob and Linda's story, could have used a comedy beat about them having to re-do the spreadsheets or getting chastised by their accountant or something, just to round it up!
Pros:
Sticking with the parents for a second, I loved their subplot about an overheated laptop. It gave me genuine anxiety and made me go and check that I have everything backed up lol. It also just felt so true and right that this is how Bob and Linda have their lives organized. Very old-school. Probably my favorite comedy beat in the whole episode was Bob weeping as he left his computer behind, saying "I love you," and the computer repair guy going: "I love you t-- well, I'm sure he loves you." It was also nice to see Teddy briefly in this episode, he hasn't been around in the last couple.
The kids are running a snack selling ring, and things get complicated when Millie uses it as an elaborate plan to get detention with Louise so they can spend time together. I like that we see Louise sort of seduced away from her siblings, but Tina and Gene immediately go to warn her when they realize the bigger plan, and at the end of the day they have each other's backs as always! I loved the joke about Bob having syphilis, that was the best and most delightful kind of random.
An extra short review today, I'm on a time crunch! Had a good time with this one, not much else to say.
9/10
