Sometimes I don't even feel like I need to write these reviews, I should just copy/paste my pros and cons from previous weeks... I was watching a compilation quip of older episodes of the show and I feel like the whole thing used to be sharper and funnier and just... more. Like Bailey's new favorite vocabulary word, this episode felt... mid.
Cons:
I don't really like that Jo is just... the trauma character now, because I feel like her whole life has been her dealing with trauma because of abuse, and abandonment, and now birth trauma, and it feels like she has to hold the burden of being the character that teaches us about these heavy subjects all the time. I am obviously not a fan of Jo/Link so I also don't like it when stories focus on their romance... so I think I'm ultimately just coming down on the "Jo is annoying to me now" position, which is a real bummer.
